THE STORY

BEHIND

THE FROCK

FASHIONS have never been greater fun than they are this spring.

In the evening we are a going in for fancy dress, and, what is more, we are getting used to it; in the daytime we swing along in little-girl frocks, so gay and youthful, with their wide skirts and closely- fitting little bodices.

Funny part of it-most of our little-girl frocks are a type of fancy dress, too..

Don't misunderstand me, by fancy dress I don't mean anything extraordinary or only fit for costume dances. For the true interpretation of the term "fancy dress" is really a style which has made history in the past but which has now gone out of fashion.
