With the unanimous approval of shareholders of the Hong- kong Electric Company, Limit

It is understood that the British Government put for- ward certain auggestions ten clear days ago, and now has a idea of the reception by the Arab and Jewish delegates, although there are still some. details to be further considered. British It is thought that the Government is now in a position to work out what might be considered a possible settlement.
The rest of this week will be de voted to considering what is des cribed as the "Onal British proposal for an all-round agreement on Palestine question."
