Ambassador Says British Rearmament Is Not Aggressive
In reply to fears expressed in Germany, the British Ambassador, Sir Nevile Henderson, in a speech at Cologne, stated that British re-armament had no aggressive purpose whatsoever. German reports sinte that the British Navy no longer takes Supplementary the Army and Air Force, pride of place over estimates for the Royal Navy on account of last year's mobilisation have been asked for.
The problem of Germany's former colonics is being raised once more. France has declared that there is no intention of returning the former German African colonies of Cameroona and Togoland.
