HEARING OF the $30,000 insurance claim against the China Underwriters, Ltd. was resumed before the Chief Justice, Sir Atholl MacGregor in the Supreme Court this morning, after an adjournment of nearly month.

Plaintiffs are the Cheong Shing Ilong firm, and the claim arose out of a fire in their go- down in January, 1938.

They claim $30,996.23 from the de- fendants, being the rateable propor- tion to be borne by them of the loss of a quantity of sea-food through the fire.
