Neville Chamberlain to act independently in the matter of the recogni- tion of General Franco, Mr. Clement Attice moved a Labour vote of censure in the House of Commons to-day.
The motion noted with "shame and abhorrence" the decision to recognise the Nationalist Government in view of the existence of the legitimate Government of Spain.
