MPORTANT DECISIONS regarding the future of the International and French Settlements in Shanghai are believed to have been .de- cided upon in a three-hour conference aboard the Japanese flagship Idżumo last night.
The conference was attended by military, naval and diplomatic officials. “Domei" understands that the Japanese authorities have decided upon an important line of action to cope with "possible contingencies."
"Firm and positive" steps will, it is believed. be taken.
