TOKYO, Feb. 15.

THE JAPANESE naval landing forces which advanced along the coastline westward from Samah on Tuesday, occupied Aihsien, important town on the southern coast of Hainan Island about 20 miles west of Samah, at midnight, a wireless dispatch from south Hainan Island says.

The dispatch adds that the Chinese defence forces for some time maintained their headquarters in southern Hainan Island at Aihsien.
