It is possible that a special Parliamentary Bill en- abling the trustees to accept it will be considered by them.

This procedure was followed when Tring Natural History Museum, containing the finest entomological collection of its kind in the world, was left to them in the will of the late Lord Rothschild.

This new gift follows a suggestion made by scien- tists that £50,000 should be subscribed to purchase the property.
