Snow Causes Postponement Of Soccer Ties

Chester Hold Wednesday Again In F.A. Cup Game

London, Jan. 25.

Snow caused the postponement of several niches in to-day's soccer programme, and in one match, between Leeds and Huddera- field, snow and bad light forced the game to be abandoned after 61 minutes' play.

In the Fourth- Raund replays in the F. A. Cup, Newcastle "beat" Cardur by 4-1, but Chester and Shefield Wednesday were unble to arrive at a delnite result though extra time was played.

The game between Tollenham and West Ham wan not played owing to

snow.

The greatest surprise in the Scottish Cup replays was the home defeat of Partick Thistle at the hands of Cowdenbeath, who won by the odd goal in three.
