HAUL OF HEROIN

Defendant Said to Have Had Consultants

When Revenue Omeer J. L. Stephens and a party raided a house In Shanghai Street on January 3, they seized 0,438 heroin pills. The front part of the house was allegedly used ns a heroin divan, and at the rear was a consulting room.

Two men, Liu Ping, 44, unemploy- ed, and Lui Chung-wing, 37, said to be a doctor, were arrested, and they appeared before Mr, E. Himsworth at the Kowloon Magistracy yesterday. Liu admitted charges of keeping a heroin divan, unlawful possession of 2,010 heroin__pills, and unlawful possession of nine, heroin pipes Defendant by Mr. J. M. D'Almada Remedios, Lul Chung-wing denied a charge of possession of 3,238 pliis.
