12. HE "Berliner Tageblatt" publishes a report from Prague to the effect that the Chinese Government, through intermediaries, has offered the Czech Govern- ment to participate in the Bruenn and South Bohemia munition and arms works. This information, the corres- pondent claims to have received in connection with the sale of the majority shares in the Bruenn arms works by the Czech State to a private consortium.

After the conclusion of this transaction, the corres- pondent claims, a delegation of Chinese representing Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, arrived in Prague to begin negotiations for Chinese participation in the Bruenn and South Bohemia arms works.

TRANSPORT THROUGH BURMA INCREASING
