Basle Bank Holds Formal Meeting

The heads of various central banks, including Mr. Montague Norman and Dr. Schacht, held a formal meeting to-day.

Although only the Internal affairs of the Bank of International Settle- ments were considered, it is under- stood that international financial action to assist the emigration of Jews Was considered! German privately.

The Bank's administrative council met later and reviewed the Bank of check England's reccnt measures to speculation against sterling.

During the discussion it was stated that there had been a considerable repatriation of French capital, and it was agreed that the French financial and monetary situation was factory-Bruter.
