ACTION FOR LIBEL
Defamation Of Character Alleged By Mr. Brayfield
An action for libel, claiming unstipulated damages, was brought by Mr. Thomas Henry Gordon Brayflald, marine surveyor and owner of racing ponies, against the Hongkong Jockey Club, at the Supreme Court yesterday, before Mr. Justice R. E. Lindsell,` Acting Chief Justice,

The defence admitted the publication of the notice, but maintained that their action was privileged.
Hearing was adjourned to this morning.
