BRITISH CREDITS BOYCOTT
Obvious Hint By Mr. Oliver Stanley
London, Dec. 15. Mr. Oliver Stanley, President of the Board of Trade, replying to the debate in the House of Commons on the Ex- port Guarantee Bill, said that Mr. Pethwick Lawrence had expressed the hope that credits would not be used for countries violating international Jaw, or whose attitude appeared to be hostile towards Britain,
Mr. Stanley continued: "I don't want to name nainca, or to lay down that for the duration of his Bill certain countries are always going to be our enemies, but I do want to go as far as I possibly can to meet any fears felt on this subject. Although! countries haven't been named, I have a fairly shrewd iden which they are, I can say that not only those countries never asked for credits under a section such as this, but there is no contemplation that credits of this kind shall be given to them."-Reuter.
