Held to Have Acted Unsatisfactorily

At the Summary Court yesterday, a claim for $137.17 by Kwok Tung, Secretary of the Hongkong and Kew loon Soy, Pickle und Preserved Frui's Merchants' Union, on behalf of the was Union, against Tse flu-fung upheld by Mr. Justice E. H. Williams, who remarked that the defence had not been satisfactory.

Defendant was alleged to misused the money, which was part of book debts owing to the firm of Li Chun Yuen Kee and collected for that firm's creditors. He was former ly manager and secretary of the Union.

Mr. M. A. da Silva appeared for the plaintif, while the defendant conducted his own case.

No order as to costs was made, his Lordship remarking that he consider

the members of the Union had not handed over money to the Union in a satisfactory fashion.
