A CHARITY CONCERT English Forum Arrange Bright Programme
The Hongkong English Forum will be producing a charity concert of the Chinese Y.W.CA. at Bonham Road on Saturday, December 3, at 8 pm. when the total proceeds of the con- cert will be donated to the Y.W.C.A. for war relief work.
A strong committee headed by Mr. C. Winglee is in charge of the ar- rangements for the show, and it now remains for the members and their friends to make it a success.
The main feature is to be a farce entitled "The King of the Cannibal Island." This will be played by Forum members, and is expected to give 20 minutes of much amusement.

Tommy Farr will be allowed to go through with his contest with Lou Nova at Madison Square Garden, New York, next monili, in spite of suspension by the British Boxing Board Of Control, writes Joe Brom- ley in the Sporting Life.
According to a Reuter message, ine New York State Athletle Commission have decided to take no action con- cerning the request of the British Board that they should suspend Farr.
