The Imports and Exports Department (Statistical Branch) reports that the combined values of imports and exports of merchandise (excluding treasure) as declared during the month of October, 1938, totalled $80.8 millions (£5.0 milliona) compared with 395.4 millions (£5.9 millions) In October, 1937.
In terms of local currency the total vialblo trade of the decreased by 16.3% in October, Colony (excluding treasure)
