LATEST MEASURES
IN GERMANY REVEALED
"Intolerable For Germans
To Sit With Jews"
BERLIN, Nov. 14.
REGARDING the conditions in Jewish hospitals it was learned from well-informed circles this evening that the care of the Jewish sick has been provided for despite the measures taken against Jows.
In Berlin, altogether 380 Jewish doctors are admitted to practice for Jewish patients. Of this number, 183 are general practitioners, and 203 specialists of all branches.
Jewish doctors formerly employed
In Jewish clnles and hospitals have all been retained in their positions. Likewise all institutions for the sick have been permitted to continue, co that Jewish hospitals have not fost single bed. In Berlin there are two hospitals for Jews, one Infirmary and 16 private clinics.
Where Jewish doctors and Jewish sick institutions are unable to cope with the situation, competent public health authorities have been instruct- ed to appoint German assistant doc- adequate medical rer- tors to assure vice. Until now, it is declared, this has not proved necessary, and treat- ment in Jewish sick Institutions has in rio case been disturbed-Trans- Occan.
