HE HAS HANDLED 16,000 DIVORCES

And Stayed Married For Thirty Years

Mr. Adrian Hussard-Short, who in the last ten years as secretary of the London Committee on Poof Persons Procedure has handled 16,000 divorce cases, recently celebrated his thirtieth anniversary of happily married life.

Mr. Hassard-Short is fifty- eight, his wife fifty-six. They met in the Law Courtz.

They always spend their hol- daya together, and Mr. Hassard- Short rarely goes to dinners to which his wife is not invited.

Every Saturday they go to- gether to a Brixton music-hall.j Two neats are permanently booked. for them.

Mro. Hansard-Short, knitting con- tentedly in the hotel where they are staying on holiday, said: "Some of these people can't understand what they're taking on when they get married. They never learn to give and take."
