Mr. Chamberlain's Godesberg talks with Herr Hitler on the Czech crials began on September 22, and on the 23rd a conversation which started at 10.40 p.m. continued until 1.25 p.m. The Premier flew back to Eng. land on the 24th. Mr. Chamberlain's talks with Herr Hilter on September 23, the second day of the Prime Minister's visit to Godesbers, had been expected to be resumed in the morning, but were postponed until a late hour in the evening owing to the fact that Mr. Chamberlain had written a letter to Herr Her and was awaiting the reply. Eventually Mr. Chamberlain arrived at Herr Hitler's hotel, and their conference was continued antii the early hours of. September 24.
