The generous response by the public to their appeal for funds is mentioned by the Executive Committee of the Street Sloepers' Shelter Society in their annual report, which will be presented at the fifth annual general meeting to be held at St. John's Cathedral

Hall on Wednesday, at 5.30 pm. During the period from December, 1037 to May, 1030, almost 80,000 persons were provided with shelter, including women and children.
