Sweet and Simple

You want a sweet for a supper party, easy to make cheap, and

attractive to look at? Try this,

Take as many well-shaped cooking apples as you need, pare them and take out the cores. Put them whole in a ricamer, and slcam gently until soft but unbroken.

Let them cool, put them in a 'glass dielt, and All the core space with raspberry jam. Pour a bolled custard round the apples, and when it has settled sprinkle it with those tiny coloured sweets called hundreds and thousands, or put dabs of whipped cream on it. If you want to be more extravagant, use cream to pour round the apples instead of custard.
