FIRST PICTURES

These are the first official pictures of the new Cunard-White Star liner, which was launched by Queen Elizabeth, after whom it is named, yesterday. With 14 decks and a gross tonnage of 83,000, the liner will be the largest in the world. Her length is 1,030 feel-ten feel longer than die Queen Mary.
