Loyalists Lose 50,000 In Terrific Battle
Salamanca, Sept. 22.
The Insurgents have continued their advance on a three-mile front on the Ebro River and have captured nearly the Loyalist trenches, according to an Insur- gent communique.
The Loyalists lost over 50,000 men In the last battle on the Ebro front, including at least 5,000 in the last 4 hours, declares the message.
