Cricket Notes By "R. Abbit"

Several Players From Kowloon C. C. Can Go To Shanghai For Interport

The bad weather on Saturday last was just enough to put a stop to the cricket and not enough to do the reservoirs any good. It was a great pity that the game had to be called off and of course, this sort of thing, which is always likely to happen about now, is one of the great arguments against our sending up a team to Shanghai in the early Autumn. It is to be hoped, however, that we shall have decent weather next Saturday when, I believe, a game will be played on the LR.C. ground.

HOME TEAMS SUCCEED

Three Games Played In English Soccer

London, Sept. 10. Three matches were played in the English Football League to-day, and in all cases the home teams were successful.

In the only match played in the First Division, Blackpool registered their second victory of the season at the expense of Brentford, Scoring four times to their opponents' solitary tally.

Blackburn Rovers beat West Ham

I said in my last noles that I though I had probably forstollen quite a lot of obvious people and of course, I find. To start with, from the K.C.C. I had forgotten D.J.N. Anderson, N.D.

would not, I think, be as successful on the Shangħal wicket as he is here, but he is a useful all-rounder and If he only would make proper use of his reach, he is the sort of fellow who can safely play forward to t Jong- hop. If my

This reminds me that apparently both Godby and Weedon are both in the Colony and I imagine, on their lust
