In Happy Valley Trials

Training at Happy Valley on Saturday showed a general improvement in an Increased number of ponies. Desert Chief was prominen, with a mile and a quarter run, covering the distance in 2.56 with a Inst quarter of 20.4 secs. Cape York and Brutus completed the three-quarters, the former in 2.03.2 and the latter in 2.08.1; with last quarters of 29.1 and 27.3 respectively. The complete times were as follow:
