In this partially submerged Missouri Pacifle passenger train, wreekten when rain-flooded Joachim Creek near Festus, Missouri, washed out a section of track. Engineer W. W. Muliroy met death by drowning. Five cars and the engine were derailed in the accident, the locomotive over-turning in the muddy waters.
