Douglas Timins, aged sixty, detective story-writer and St. Marylebone borough councillor, yesterday secured the decree nisi of divorce granted in the English courts on grounds of incurable insanity.
His case, brought under the new Matrimonial Causes Act sponsored by Mr. A. P. Herbert, took two hours to decide.
