Many Resolutions To Boycott Japan

the

India's reaction to Japanese bombing of Canton is revented in a cable received in Hongkong by Mr. Amrital D, the Sheth, representative of vernacular nowspaper, Janmab- hoomi, which reads:

"Congress ordered Inst Sunday as China Day which was observed Throughout India.

"Public meetings everywhere passed resolutions condemning Japan, sympathising with China, boycotting Japanese goods, and agreeing to send a red cress mission to China,"

Near Macao

Macao, June 13. Japanese planes dropped three bombs this morning, the explosions of which were beard in Macao, at a polet some miles to the west of this Colony, but so far no information has been received with regard to the locality bombed.

This is the first activity by the Japanese in these parts for many days: the large concentrations of Japanese warships that were observed ane time ago, and which melted way, are still absent, though therey wen few small ships in the vicinity of San Chan Island. is believed that the planes that were active this orting came from these vessels.- Our Owen Correspondent.
