CHURCH DOCTRINE ATTACKED

"We Must Resist This Threat" Say The

Anglo-Catholics

That the publication of the Doctrinal Commission's report has "increased the serious unsettlement already existing in the Church of England" is alleged in a state- ment issued by the Catholic Advisory Council, a body which represents over 50,000 Anglo-Catholics, including some 2,000 clergy,

Complaint is made, moreover, of increasingly fre- quent violations of the principles of faith, order and mo- rals which are the sacred inheritance of the whole Angli- can communion,

The Doctrinal Report laid it down that assent to formularies in public worship should be taken as signity- ing "general acceptance," and not necessarily detalled agreement.

The Counell declares that to recite the formularies of the Church, while publicly denying their historical truth, dishonours the worship of God and must compromise the trust- worthiness of the Church's ministers in the eyes of the whole world.

Accredited teachers of the Church, it points out, are expressly debarred from departing from the creeds,

THE RESURRECTION

In reaffirming the doctrinal prin: | ciples of the Church of England, it Jay's particular emphasis on the his- toricul truth of the Virgin Birth and bodily Resurrection of Jesus Christ, The statement deplores the attempt to recognise a non-cpiscopal ministry, aa having validity corresponding to the ministries of the Church, as well the movement to adinit women to holy orders.

According to records of the Social Security board, Johnson spent more than a third of his life in slavery and was sold four times.

ROOSTER MUST NOT CROW BEFORE 7 a.m.

Brighton, Apr. 27. Brighton's irrepressible rooster, whose early morning crow- ing neighbours alleged disturbed their sleep, went to court to-day. And the court decided he shall not crow again before 7 a.m.

The woster's owner is Mr. Arthur Chick, tram conductor, of Boar-rond, Brighton. Complainant-in-chief against Chick and his rooster was Mrs. Martha Upton, who lives a few doors away from Chick. She summoned him for keeping a noisy animal, to wit a rooster, on March 8 and subsequent dates."

FOOT ITCH

Athlete's Foot

According to the Govern ment Health Bulletin No. E-28, at least 60% of the

ON Co., Ltd.

adult population of the United States are being attacked by the disease known as Athicte's Foot.

Usually the disease starts between the toes. Little watery blisters form, and the skin cracks and peels. After a while, the itching becomes intense, and you feel as though you would like to scratch off all the skin.

BEWARE OF IT SPREADING Often the discase travels all over the bottom of the feet. The soles of your feet become red and swollen. The skin also cracks and peels, and the itching becomes worse and worse.

Get rid of this disease as quickly as possible, because it is very contagious and it may go to your hands or even to the under arm or crotch of the legs.

Most people who have Athlete's Foot have tried all kinds of remedies to cure it without success. Ordinary germicides, anti- septics, salve or ointmentà seldom do any good...

HERE'S HOW TO TREAT IT

The germ that causes the disease is known as Tinen Trichophy- ton. It buries itself deep in the tissues of the skin and is very hard to kill. A test made shows it takes 15 minutes of boiling to kill the germ, so you can see why ordinary remedies are unsuccessful. K. F. was developed solely for the purpose of treating Athlete's Foot. It is a liquid that penetrates and dries quickly. You just paint the affected parts. It peels off the tissue of the skin where the germ breeds.

TTCHING STOPS IMMEDIATELY

As soon as you apply H. F. you will and that the itching is immediately relleved. You should paint the infected parts with H. F. night and morning until your feet are well. Usually this takes from three to ten days, although in severe cases it may taka longer or in mild cases less time.

H. F. will leave the skin soft and smooth. You will marvel at the quick way it brings you relief; especially if you are one of those who have tried for years to get rid of Athlete's Foot without success.
