King And Queen Watch The Army At 'War'

DWARFED by a huge tank as it thundered past, the Queen watched the "battle" fought at Aldershot.

She was accompanied by the King. From Jubilee Hill they saw infantry co-operating with tanks and artillery in an attack. Dummy shells bursting within a few yards of where they stood gave a realisic impression of warfare and artillery laid a ɑmoke screen to confase enemy machine

gunners.
