LOVE TRIANGLE IS ALLEGED
IN VILLA SHOOTING
Husband's "No" To Divorce
THE CASSERLEY CASE
AFTER the story of a love "triangle," which ended in the death by shooting of Mr. Percy Arthur Casserley, 58-year-old company director, had been unfolded at Wimbledon Police Court, the dead man's widow, 20 years his junior, and a builder's foreman, aged 36, were remanded.
The widow, Mrs. Georgina May Casserley, who was refused bail at the last hearing, heard her counsel appeal successfully on this occasion.
A condition was that she should enter a nursing home, where she would be attended by a night nurse as well as a day nurse.
The builder's foreman, Edward Royal Chaplin, of Abbotsbury Road, Morden, stood in the dock accused of the murder of Mr. Casserley.
