BRADMAN WANTS BATSMAN
Barnes Unable To Play Before July
Sydney, April 26. Don Bradman (Captain) and Mr. Jeanes (Manager) of the Australian cricket team in England, cabled the medical report to the Australian Board of Control from London stat- ing that Sydney Barnes, who broke his wrist during the voyage, would be unable to play cricket before July.
It is understood that Brodmari has asked for a baisman to replace Barnes, and that the Board will be considering tho matter within the next few days.Reuter.
