ST. JOHN AMBULANCE
A striking display of efficiency and enthusiasm was given by nearly 500 members of the St. John Ambulance Brigade at an inspection by His Excellency the Governor, Sir Geoffry Northcote, on the Naval Recreation Ground, Causeway Bay, yesterday.
A mimic air rald was staged before about 4,000 spectators who anw a vivid display of the work an organisation such as St. John would have to do in such an emergency.
His Excellency extolled the achievements of the Brigade and its officers and said its special problems were receiving consideration.
