Home teams had a bad time: generally in the football matches played both in England and Scot. land to-day, only two out of Boven succeeding in winning des- pite the advantage of grounds.
The two auccessful home teams were Rangers and Motherwell, whe Won their matches in the First of the Scottish League Division against Arbroath and St. Johnstone. respectively.
In
the English League, the Wolverhampton Wanderers lost valunbic ground in their racu for championship honours when, before their own supporters, they were beaten by solitary goal,

RUGBY WIN FOR.
ST. MARY'S
London, Mar, 23.
In the Hospitals Rugby Cup final played to-day, St. Mary's defeated Guy's easily, winning by 18 points to nil.-Router.
The Aight Alma will leave unbiassed
spectators somewhat in doubt, A draw would seem to be the only conclusion to the average spectator but at the same time, no-one who cannot score the points, should dis- agree with the referee's verdict in a close fight.

The film does not show the incident early in the Bght wheri Farr alleged to have hit tow and thereby to have lost this round according to New York rules.
In the ninth round whether be- cause he was himself tiring-which in hard to believe if he had trained properly or because he took the light too easily, Furr slowed down. He boxed at Braddock's own pace, and the former champion promptly lashed him with some fine punches, The effort cost Braddock nearly
all his energy. He fell into his stool, but he managed to take the tenth and last round-a poor one-by
margin.
ΜΠΙΤΟΝ
One is Impressed in the Alm by Braddock's clean slyle of boxing as against Farr's pushes in the break- aways and it is surprising to see that it in the American who is showing- and gaining full advantage from it- the traditional British upright stance with the straight left. The film is worth seeing since Farr has done so much talking that it is a change to see him do some fighting. The re- sull-perhaps because of the high verbal standard- is not impressive.
