Woman Killer on Hunger Strike

New York. Coldly defant, Mrs. Julia Barker, who is alleged to have shot dead her real estate business associate, Mrs. Edith Cummings, has gone on hun- ger strike. She steadfastly refuses to nld the police, and insists that she killed her parince in self-defence.

Taken to the scene of the crime. Mrs. Barker sat in the police car and would not help to reconstruct the tragedy. She was quite oblivious to the stares of 2,000 people, and fold the detectives:
