Vicious Fighting In Shanghai Carbarets
Shanghal, Mar. 2. Passion ran high last night when French and Italian callors engaged in a free for all in "Blood Alley,” a street, 100 yards long in French Concession, whitch is lined on both sides with dance halls.
The cause of the clash was jealousy between a French and Italian sailor over the flekle affection of a Russian taxl dancer. One man lost his ear In the clash, while four others were
also injured severely enough to re- quire hospital treatment.
