The inclusion of several battle- ships in the Navy Estimates for 1938 is confidently predicted in naval quarters, writes Hector C. Bywater in the London Daily Telegraph.

A number of valuable articles| were found hidden away in re- ceptacles which had not been opened according to the officers of the Maligawa, for more than ja quarter of a century.
All these chests were taken out of the store rooms in which elephant troppings are usually stored. Until these articles were discovered, that valuables nobody was aware were contained in the chests.
One of the articles found was a book of gold leaves, which is said to have been presented by L former King of Siam and deals with the procedure to be adopted in the ordination of monks of the Siamese sect.
