London, Feb. 1. Thames stevedores were urged t mass meeting held near the Royal Dock gate at Silvertown to-night to refuse to handle Japanese goods and borough boycott.

25 New Cases Of Smallpox

Twenly-five new cases of small- pox were reported to the local health buthorities during the Chinese New Year holidays, bringing the total since the beginning of the year to 151.

With the end of the New Year celebrations, and Chinese antipathy towards vaccination Just before this important holiday, mass vaccination is now proceeding at an accelerated pace.

It is revealed that 25 pounds of smallpox vaccine was rushed by air mail to Hongkong, arriving here by the Daedalus on Monday. The vaccine left Bandoeng on Friday morning by K.L.M. plane and was transhipped to Imperial Airways

plane at Bangkok.

Shipment of the vaccine by plane resulted in a saving of six days in transit.
