Dr. A. J. ("Critic of Harloy-stroof") Cronin hoped his third child- just born-would be à girl, It was a boy. And Dr. Cronin has since decided two things: he wants the boy to be a doctor; he's glad he had a Harley-streat specialist to bring him into the world.

Dr. Cronin, sandy-haired, blue- eyed and slim, talked with me in his Manalleld-street, W., apartment, just around the corner from the nursing home where Mrs. Cronin and thel son are "doing nicely."
