DEFENCE ISSUE

Referring to the Imperial Con- ference after the Coronation, Mr. Chamberlain said that never in all the history of Imperial Conferences was the sense of kinship better or fundamental unity between the representatives on all essential issues more clearly demonstrated. There were further efforts they could make to bring them nearer the goal-nane T y collaboration with other partners in the British Commonwealth in the means of defence-in their attitude and relation with forelin Powers, and in the development of means of com- munication and the building up of scanty populations with fresh blood.
