Fraser, al- tached to the Secretariat for Chinese Affairs, said the girl called at her sister house in Village Road November 27, and complained that she had been given bisuficient clothing by defendant. The sister accompanied her back to defendant's flat, and told her she wanted to redeem the girl. Defendant replied that she would let the girl of the sister was willing to pay her double what she had paid for the girl, which was $134.

The sister, not having that much money, said she could only raise $134, and defendant then suggested that she be paid $140 and an extra $60 later. The girl's brother, who was
