TAKE-OFF IN GALE According to an eye-witness of the of gule disaster there was a wind velocity when the Cygnus left its moorings. The nose of the hull appeared to crumple up like cord- board.

Mr. Robert Lutyens was one of the passengers. but he was not seriously injured. He is the son of Sir Edwin Lutyens, the architect-Reuter.
