Former Secular Rulor Of Tibet
New Delhi, Dec. 3. The Panchen Lama died to-day In the neighbourhood of Jyckundo, Western China, he had been an exte from Tibet for 13 years-Reuter Bulletin.
Panchen Lama, better known in Tibet as Tashi Lama, former secular ruler of Tibet, was born in Inner Tibet at 1883.
In 1903 he accompanied the Duke of York (later King George V) in. India and returned to Tibet in the following year when he introduced reforms in education and other ministrative measures.
