Export Quota To Be Increased

London, Nov. 30. Owing to the recent rate of increase United Kingdom stocks compared with that of year ago, tea circles are somewhat surprised at to-day's announcement that the export quota is to be raised by five per cent.

It is pointed out that the Increase releases a further 40,000,000 pounds jot tea, which, when taking into

account the 20,000,000 pounds still outstanding from last May's increase, means that during 1938-9 the market. will have to absorb an additional. 00 to 70 million pounds."
