The weather has improved and enabled the rebels to drop a score of bombs on the centre of Lerida, damaging the barracks.
General expectation is that General Franco's offensive will be launched al the end of the month, the delay re- portedly being due to Italy's agree- ment with London to withdraw a portion of the Italian volunteers, which has necessitated re-organisa tion of General Franco's armies, in- cluring the replacement of Italian recruited Spanish aviators by newly alrmen, which the Loyalists assert are relatively inexperienced. -- United Press.
