Dear Kiddies,
This is all my own work
So many entries this week that your poor old Uncle Eddie was snow- ed under with lots and lots of ox- cellent pointings and crayon work. It was really most difficult to choose the winners this week, kiddies, s you all seem to be so very elever with your paint brushes and crayons. However, nfler carefully considering I am awarding the Senior prize to Barbara Smith (aged 10), 2, Fortress Hill, Northpoint; and the Junior prize to Toolsle Garela Enged 7), 12, Jordan Road, Kowloon.
Will Barbara and Tootsle call at the "Hongkong Telegraph" offices for their prizes?
After deciding on the winners, I then had to look through all the entries again to decide, which kiddies would be given Meril Certifientes.
This is what I have decided:
Pinna, Eva Senlora: Thelma Grady, Yvonne Cropley, Jill Eager, Helen NA, Yvonne Blackmore, Amy Choy, Freda Stephans, Jean Grady, Jose Maria da Silva.
John Juniors: Eleanor Santer,
Dimple Warrington. Harriman, Violetta dos Remedios and James Andrews.
These certificates are being sent to you.
Now, I want to specially commend some of you who were not quite up to either prize or Merit Certificate standards.
Among the Seniors there are Dora Tlu, Vivian Pomeroy. Fern Ellis, Betty Becker, Au Young Po Kay, Peter
Venables, Tam Woo-cheong, Tom Woo-liang. Patricia Bowker, Wong Chu-yung. Therese da Luz, Myrtle Metz Decker, Joyce M.

Silva, Burton,
I have had a letter from Zoe N. Gebben, of 2, 81, John Road, Hough- ton, Johannesburg, South Africa. She wishes to have an English pen friend, about fourteen years old, either a boy or girl. She collects starps and is fond of reading and sports. I think It would be really very nice If some af you wrote to Zoc, don't you?
This week's competition is puzzle and not palating. Whether
you are good at geography at school or not, you will be able to do this test, Above you fee pletures of elight geographical objects, but the names been jumbled and put in have against the wrong pictures. You simply have to give each picture its right name.
Send your entries to Unele Eddle, c/o Hongkong Telegraphy" by four o'clock next Wednesday afternoon.
Two prizes will be given, one for Sentors and one for Juniors.
Best of luck,
Uncle
