After nearly a quarter century of varied duties, the Leviathan, that transported 100,000 dough-boys to France and back in the World War, is going to the scrap heap. For three years the mightiest ship of its day has been tied up on the waterfront at Hoboken, N. J. slowly deteriorating. Now her owners, the United States Lines, announce she will ha sold for scrap, hoping she will bring enough for a down payment on a $16,000,000 successor; Formerly the pride of the German passenger Steel, she was launched at Hamburg In April, 1913, as the S.
