Brentford's week-end win over Livernont has established · thém as the sole leaders of the First_división_of_the- English Football League. Chelses, having drawn with Sunderland, have now dropped to arrond place.
Though they only gained one point from Bradford, Coventry retain their first positions in the Second division, Notts County have been replaced by Millwall in the premier position of the Third division (Soulli), while in the northern'section, though. Emcoln and Gateshead have an equal number of points. Lincoln take first place by virtue of the better goal average.
"In the First division of the Scottish League, Rangers, who have not yet lost a match, are creeping closer to Motherwelt at the head of the table.
