Biggleswade, Oct. 3. WHEN a bride walked to the altar at Biggleswade Parish Church to-day she was unawaro that death had over-taken a party on the way to her wedding.

News of the tragedy was withheld from the bride until the wedding was over; she was merely told that a slight ac- eldent had detained the brides. maid.
